Ancarva Cottage

Ancarva Cottage is a beautifully refurbished 3-storey property that enjoys incredible sea views, perfectly positioned in the heart of Downalong in St Ives sitting just above the serene Bamaluz beach.

From the middle-floor living room and top-floor bedroom the jaw-dropping sea views are mesmerising from the large picture windows, ideal for watching the sun rise and seal spotting. The far-reaching views extend right across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse, from where you may even see pods of dolphins frolicking in the bay!

The cottage is nestled right in the heart of old St Ives that is surrounded on three sides by beautiful beaches and stunning coastal scenery. Not only is Ancarva just a short stroll away from most of St Ives’ beautiful beaches and harbour, but is also just moments away from the town’s charming restaurants, galleries and boutique shops.

Recently renovated to the highest standard, the cottage sleeps up to six guests in three beautifully designed bedrooms. To the rear of the property the courtyard provides the perfect spot to relax in the evening sunshine after a day on the beach (and is also a handy place to store beach gear and sandy surfboards). During the cooler months you can curl up by the living room fire for a cosy night in.

The middle-floor kitchen is well equipped to include dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine, whilst the utility area downstairs has a washer/dryer.

Sleeping wise, the cottage has three bedrooms; the ground floor bedroom with king-sized bed and en-suite toilet, whilst on the top floor both doubles share a spacious shower room. Two of the bedrooms also have their own free-standing bath tubs.

The closest parking is nearby at The Island or Barnoon car parks just a few minutes walk away from where you can purchase a weekly Rover ticket, a transferable parking ticket that enables you to park in any of the town’s main car parks.
