DESCRIPTION:Are you a musician\, vocalist\, or simply enjoy creating music with others? \nJoin the Core-chestra Collective – a friendly and imaginative group of musicians coming together to explore a wide variety of styles\, including folk\, funk\, gypsy jazz\, nature-inspired pieces\, and original works. \nThe group meets regularly at the Core building on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. Open to all abilities\, from complete beginners to seasoned players\, this is a space focused on creativity\, collaboration\, and enjoying music together. Sessions take place at The Core\, with occasional performances at Orchard events. From time to time\, the group also hosts ceilidh and folk dance evenings. \nYou can check out some of the music created at the Orchard – here\, and new ideas and song suggestions are always encouraged. \nIf you’d like to get involved or find out more\, feel free to get in touch\, or simply turn up and join in. DESCRIPTION:Join us every Tuesday at The Core\, a welcoming community space set within a beautiful orchard and nature reserve. \nPop in\, relax\, and make yourself at home\, enjoy a cup of tea\, catch up with friends\, learn more about what we do\, or take a peaceful wander through the gardens\, orchard\, and surrounding nature. \nOur volunteer-run café offers delicious\, wholesome vegetarian meals and refreshments at affordable prices. We make the most of locally sourced ingredients\, including produce grown on-site\, donations from local growers\, and surplus food shared through Foodshare—so there’s always something a little different to enjoy each week. \nWe’re always grateful for homemade cake donations\, and we’re also looking for friendly volunteers to help in the café. If you’d like to get involved\, we’d love to hear from you. \nThe Core and its surrounding garden are fully wheelchair accessible\, and parking can be arranged on request. \nFree lunch for volunteers!Join our friendly work group from 10am to 12pm and enjoy a complimentary lunch as a thank you.
