What happens when the community successfully fundraises and purchases a former community hospital? The Edward Hain Centre happens!

At the Edward Hain Centre (EHC) we believe that health should be accessible to everyone and we are taking a progressive and creative approach to health & wellbeing provision in the St Ives area. With a holistic approach to wellness, we offer a wide range of clinical services that are complemented by additional support options designed to enhance your overall health and wellbeing. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment with services that are tailored to the needs of the community. Many EHC services are free thanks to grants, donations and revenue generated from the spaces we have available to rent (both short-term and long-term).

We still have a considerable amount of renovation to do on the building but, with the support of the community and the ongoing fundraising efforts of the Friends of the EHC, we continue to make progress with our development.

We are also supported by our growing team of dedicated volunteers who take on a wide variety of roles at the Centre – from assisting with the delivery of our services to tending to our outdoor spaces. We welcome all volunteers and find ways to celebrate your unique skills and individuality.
